During Pregnancy

A one hour antenatal session to help you feel prepared for breastfeeding when baby arrives. Know what to expect and how to get feeding off to the best start. Learn how to know that baby is getting enough milk and how to maximise your milk supply. We can also discuss some strategies for if things don’t go as planned.

Preparing to Breastfeed Session £50 – 60 minutes videocall plus 2 weeks WhatsApp support after baby arrives

Antenatal group session – I can also offer the antenatal session to small groups in your own home or by videocall - please enquire for pricing.

Breastfeeding Support

After baby arrives I can help with:

  • Positioning and Attachment

  • Painful Feeding

  • Engorgement

  • Mastitis

  • Breast refusal

  • Feed frequency

  • Milk supply

  • Weight gain issues

  • Expressing

  • Tongue Tie

  • Weaning

  • Twins / Multiples

  • and much more

A home visit is typically the most effective way to assess your baby’s latch and the latch is often key to overcoming many breastfeeding difficulties. A videocall may also work if you can change the camera angle or send some videos in advance. If you are not sure which is most appropriate, please get in touch to discuss.

Home Visit – around 90 minutes to include an observation of a feed, oral assessment (if necessary), a feeding plan based on the visit and two weeks of follow up WhatsApp support.

I offer home visits across North London within about a 5 mile radius of my home in N8. Please enquire if you are unsure. Home visits will be charged at £140. I will typically be able to see you within 48 hours.

Videocall £80 - 60 to 90 minutes to include an observation of a feed (sending some videos in advance may be helpful), a feeding plan based on the call and two weeks of follow up WhatsApp support.

Follow Up Support – if you need further support beyond the above then second and subsequent home visits will be charged at £100 per visit.
